Hyperstimulation of Dissimulation
Hyperstimulation of Dissimulation
The situation is critical. Humanity stands on a precipice of a liminal peak. We can now further ascend technologically and spiritually or we could descend into the depths of political war and environmental disaster and the furtherance of the insatiable monkey mind. And humanity has reached this very real point of disembarkation in a confounded state. We are potential yet to potentiate. But we are in a state of hyperstimulation by way of dissimulation to the point of being like frozen, stuck on a cliffside, as the whirlwind of our own creation swirls around us. The situation is critical and humanity is critically defunct.
We are on the cusp of greatness and yet we are stuck. We are as captives and it is as if the matrix of our own minds is our very captor. Our minds are predominantly made up of theological, political, cultural cutups and culprits we have adopted and entangled into our own story. We are timely beings and the time upon is one of degraded comprehension, reduced retention and ill health. It is a matrix of tribalism, of prejudiced assumptions, of adamant partisan presuppositions and of institutionalized directing we might very consider our own will and yet it is the will of our institutions of our time and place. And often we are not aware of any of this and soon after reading this and activating the thought such might not be considered again for years – which of course is a feature not a bug. And while we might be unconscious to our external predicament, for all extents and purposes, we also are asleep to our own consciousness. In simple terms higher consciousness holds an awareness of awareness while the sleeping consciousness is not aware of surroundings, nor self-aware and certainly not aware of awareness. Lack of awareness may very well be a result of overstimulation in the dissimulation.
At every turn, at every corner, on every stratum of society, in every society it would appear, everything is a lie. It is difficult to say with certainty that everything is a lie, but perhaps practically everything or at least practically everything - in part - is a lie. And everything liars promote would appear to be more perpetuated in a world of lies just by way of the algorithmic lean toward giving lies attention and their association with materialistic motivations.
It’s all lies. This is something we might feel and might hear, some of us more often than others in one way or another. But to be more accurate, though possibly a bit more cryptic initially by way of infrequently used linguistics, we can use the phrase that is the title to this article, hyperstimulation of dissimulation. We are overloaded and experience hyperstimulation by way of the worst impulses, influences and tendencies. And we experience hypostimulation by way of our social habits, behaviors and perspectives. We might note this by way of the ratio of positive input to negative input one sees on the average internet post. It is not all lies, it is that all lies are more popular.
And what exactly is this phrase hyperstimulation in the dissimulation? What is dissimulation? To comprehend this word I believe it is important to comprehend a fundamental of esoteric teachings and a primal lesson in Khemet, The Vedas, The Tao and The Kabbalah; the material world that we know is merely a reflection, or simulation, of a higher realm. The material world we are in is a simulation, a dream of Vishnu. And this realm of emanation is both less material and at the same time more real and more influential than our world, the simulation of a higher realm. From the spiritual is born the material.
With that in mind higher minded people have always tried to align their work with the divine and attempted to reflect or simulate the truth as it is and can be understood as it filtered down to the lower realm of our material plane. Philosophy, philanthropy, morality, shipbuilding, masonry, geometry, alchemy, you name it, all associated themselves with higher ideas and phenomena as a standard. Children replicate people around them. It is natural and it esoteric theory and exoteric reality that people simulate nature around us in attempts to understand and align. Of course there can be positive and negative forms of simulation.
A dissimulationist is mockery of the truth, a poor reflection of a presented truth to cover up the truth of reality, an inadequate replication like an six-fingered AI recreation surrounded by distorted ideation. The dissimulation is like a lie, only it is less specifically a lie and more accurately includes lies but also facades, and gaslighting and masks upon masks. The dissimulation and the dissimulationist is a falsehood unrelated to reality made to coerce and entice people into living a materialistic, topical, inept new map that is presented as reality but is hollow and a mask of a mask.
The book Simulacra and Simulation describes the situation of modern humanity positing that symbols evoked from reality have now taken on a reality of their own and become reality, or a version of reality unto itself, obscuring natural reality and truth with a new truth based on distorted symbology. Baudrillard describes four stages of the symbology replacement of reality.
“The first stage is a faithful image/copy, where people believe, and may even be correct to believe, that a sign is a "reflection of a profound reality", this is a good appearance, in what Baudrillard called "the sacramental order".
The second stage is perversion of reality, where people come to believe that the sign is an unfaithful copy, which "masks and denatures" reality as an "evil appearance—it is of the order of maleficence". Here, signs and images do not faithfully reveal reality to us, but can hint at the existence of an obscure reality which the sign itself is incapable of encapsulating.
The third stage masks the absence of a profound reality, where the sign pretends to be a faithful copy, but it is a copy with no original. Signs and images claim to represent something real, but no representation is taking place and arbitrary images are merely suggested as things which they have no relationship to. Baudrillard calls this the "order of sorcery", a regime of semantic algebra where all human meaning is conjured artificially to appear as a reference to the (increasingly) hermetic truth.
The fourth stage is pure simulacrum, in which the simulacrum has no relationship to any reality whatsoever. Here, signs merely reflect other signs and any claim to reality on the part of images or signs is only of the order of other such claims. This is a regime of total equivalency, where cultural products need no longer even pretend to be real in a naïve sense, because the experiences of consumers' lives are so predominantly artificial that even claims to reality are expected to be phrased in artificial, "hyperreal" terms. Any naïve pretension to reality as such is perceived as bereft of critical self-awareness, and thus as oversentimental.” ~From Wikipedia on Simulacra and Simulation
The formation of these four strata or dilutions of reality and symbology rings parallel with one of the foundational tetra-constructs of esotericism and spirituality; the four worlds of Kabbalah. The four worlds of reality describe how physical creation materializes from nonmaterial; Emanation, Formation, Fabrication, Action.
Baudrillard begins his book with a quote from Ecclesiastes. However it would appear the quote is a dissimulation itself, a falsehood, a lie, likely to make his point.
“The simulacrum is never that which conceals the truth—it is the truth which conceals that there is none. The simulacrum is true.”
Perhaps Baudrillard explains what dissimulation is as opposed to simulation. In effect simulation poses as being something real and that dissimulation covers up the real with something as posing as real.
“To dissimulate is to feign not to have what one has. To simulate is to feign to have what one hasn’t. One implies a presence, the other an absence.” ~Baudrillard
“We live in a world where there is more and more information, and less and less meaning.” ~Baudrillard
Another forerunner of the term dissimulation is Arthur Schopenhauer who penned the essay titled On Women. It is considered to be highly critical of women, however if we replace the reference to women to people under stress from hyperstimulation then the essay becomes equitable and even potent. Despite being written in 1865 with the enhanced comprehension that men also have what might have been perceived as feminine attributes the essay becomes a revelation of the mind behind the socialization and mediation of today.
All of social media is based on algorithmic streams that shuttle us all into the dissimulation of others and this inspires dissimulationist presentation in us all. The idea that women are the only ones who employ dissimulationism was the main flaw in Schopenhauer’s essay. The masculine and feminine natures are not gender specific. We all hold masculine and feminine traits and we all might employ these traits or energies in positive or negative directions.
“The fundamental defect of the female character is a lack of a sense of justice. This originates first and foremost in their want of rationality and capacity for reflexion but it is strengthened by the fact that, as the weaker sex, they are driven to rely not on force but on cunning: hence their instinctive subtlety and their ineradicable tendency to tell lies: for, as nature has equipped the lion with claws and teeth, the elephant with tusks, the wild boar with fangs, the bull with horns and the cuttlefish with ink, so it has equipped woman with the power of dissimulation as her means of attack and defence, and has transformed into this gift all the strength it has bestowed on man in the form of physical strength and the power of reasoning. Dissimulation is thus inborn in her and consequently to be found in the stupid woman almost as often as in the clever one. To make use of it at every opportunity is as natural to her as it is for an animal to employ its means of defence whenever it is attacked, and when she does so she feels that to some extent she is only exercising her rights. A completely truthful woman who does not practice dissimulation is perhaps an impossibility, which is why women see through the dissimulation of others so easily it is inadvisable to attempt it with them. – But this fundamental defect which I have said they possess, together with all that is associated with it, gives rise to falsity, unfaithfulness, treachery, ingratitude, etc. Women are guilty of perjury far more often than men. It is questionable whether they ought to be allowed to take an oath at all.” ~Schopenhauer
With our more modern and equitable understanding of the sexes it becomes apparent that many women do not engage dissimulationist behaviors and that many men do engage these behaviors. There are many examples of this, but Clavicular perhaps is an archetypal example of a male dissimulationist. This person is all about the topical appearance and coined the term ‘looksmaxing’ which might as well be a dissimulationist maxim. Of course Schopenhauer might not have imagined a man being as vain and as concerned with their topical appearance as peptide injecting and testosterone obsessed men of today.
The idea that practicing dissimulation is womanly trait or a dark feminine behavior is wrong and both women and men present such. More accurately dissimulationsim is a function of humanity potentiated by way of social cues, specific situations and different levels of stimulation. Perhaps when we are put in a position where stressors pressure us in a certain ways we, human beings of all genders, might respond by way of more or less dissimulationism. So where Schopenhauer wrote female instead of female and instead of femininity we might note that some people, and especially some people under the stressors of hyperstimulation or similar, become the dissimulationists. To deduce that hyperstimulation leads to dissimulation in social animals no matter their gender is fair and enhances the reading of Schopenhauer’s On Women into a discussion on the responses of hyperstimulated humanity.
To suggest that women are liars/dissimulationists and not men is actually an ancient dissimulation unto itself! This dissimulation is portrayed most classically in the Biblical tale of Adam and Eve and more contemporarily in the repeated demeaning sloganeering that the oldest profession is prostitution when everyone knows that it’s soldiery. For indeed soldiers were the primary costumers and they had already worked for their salaries. An order follower of oligarchy is the oldest profession and to suggest otherwise perpetuates hyperstimulation and dissimulation. Dissimulation is a human behavior and is perhaps triggered by stressors and overstimulation. It is not women who dissimulate but overstimulated humans chasing comfort and attention, sure like many women, but also many men too.
“It is dangerous to unmask images, since they dissimulate the fact that there is nothing behind them.” ~Baudrillard
How can we check ourselves if we are being influenced by and hyperstimulated by dissimulationists? Well, we have to realize it is possible that we are ourselves might be flawed. We might believe we are capable when really we are just on some bull. And the worst lie is the lie we tell to ourselves. We must love ourselves in order to love others. And we must tell the truth to ourselves in order to be truthful with others.
We have to understand that it is not that men lie, or women lie, humans lie. It is not right nor left, it is not your form of collectivism or theirs, it is all of us, everywhere. We are all capable of lies and dissimulation. And the incentivization of ‘looksmaxxing’ in the algorithm of modern media, directed by it and directing it reveals the consciousness behind the algorithm, the hyperstimulation of dissimulation.
Question the people you are being influenced by. Do they exhibit and cast hyperstimulation? Are they in fact not nuanced thinkers and characters but overt dissimulationists? Specifically seek authenticity. Ask how much the people you listen to and are friends with are Hyper, Hyperbolic, Hypocritical, and Hyped. Call them out on it.
How Hyper are the people you listen to? How monothematic and insistent are they about their ideas? The more hyper they are the less they should be given energy. Focus on yourself instead if excited insistence.
How Hyperbolic are the people you listen to? If you dig into their presentation and idea is their validity? Is their any depth to supposed wisdom they put forth? Is their any philosophical validity or any real longevity to what they put forth? Do they exaggerate their idea to the point there is only topical value and nothing underneath?
How Hypocritical are the people you listen to? The most blatant example of this is prejudiced criticism of people for one thing and prejudiced congratulations for the same act when done by those people they support.
How Hyped are the people you listen to? Are they promoted and endorsed by others of the near equivalent hollow hype? Do they propose projects together of no architecture nor texture but just more empty worldly critical gibberish?
Get off of your phone at least for a minute while you walk outside or workout at the gym or for a time in the sun. Anecdotally I see innumerable people so caught up in the dissimulation that they will openly promote that they ignore matters of import and focus solely on obtaining wealth. This type of sentiment whether implied or expressed is about the lowest form of human development in the highest and most developed society. With all the information and opportunity the world offers if they only pursue wealth or on the hyper, hyperbolic, hypocritical hype they may be an example of technological devolution. Get rid of these bullshet artists. Unmask them all.
“It is useless to dream of revolution through content, useless to dream of a revelation through form, because the medium and the real are now in a single nebula whose truth is indecipherable.” ~Baudrillard
“When everyone in the world sees beauty,
Then ugly exists.
When everyone sees good,
Then bad exists.” ~Tao Te Ching
And remember when everyone sees one thing, when the powers of politics and influence insist on one thing, note the mutual opposite within it.
